Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention Standards
At Genuine Connection, the safety of our community is our highest priority. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or grooming. These standards outline our prevention methods, detection technologies, and reporting obligations.
01. Zero-Tolerance Policy
Genuine Connection strictly prohibits:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Creation, possession, sharing, or distribution of content depicting sexual abuse of minors.
- Grooming: Any behavior intended to build a relationship with a minor for sexual exploitation.
- Sextortion: Threats to release sensitive images of a minor to coerce sexual acts or financial payment.
- Illegal Solicitation: Any attempt to solicit sexual services involving a minor.
02. Detection and Moderation Technologies
We employ a multi-layered safety framework:
- Automated Hashing Technology: Industry-standard hashing systems, such as PhotoDNA or equivalent, detect and block known CSAM before distribution.
- Keyword Monitoring: Automated systems flag high-risk keywords associated with grooming or exploitation.
- Human Review: A dedicated moderation team continuously reviews flagged content and user reports.
03. Mandatory Reporting and Law Enforcement Cooperation
- NCMEC Reporting: All identified CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline.
- Law Enforcement Cooperation: We cooperate with global law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and Interpol, to assist investigations and prosecution.
- Data Preservation: Relevant account information, logs, and associated records are preserved in accordance with applicable law.
